Just a few minutes ago, Justin, the former CEO of VShojo has given a half hearted assumption of responsibility while making it clear that there was a deeper lack of fiscal communication from within the company. Stating that they were unaware that the intended funds that Ironmouse had raised last year, the $500K in charity, was intended for charity. Now, I’m not a CFO but, if I saw a cash amount that matches what a streamer just raised for a charity, would you not realize what that money was intended for?

It’s frankly upsetting that even when trying to assume responsibility for the collapse of VShojo and the complete lack of transparency to the talent that kept it afloat, they they feel the need to backpedal and direct blame elsewhere. As it currently stands, VShojo has dissolved all partnerships and storefront operations. VShojo’s response demonstrates and understanding of the situation and a direction to attempt to keep it afloat, however the complete disregard for the talent that made it what it is, is horrendous to say in the least.
Meanwhile, Ironmouse and the larger VTube community has come together to raise over 1.2 million dollars for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
