Just a short while ago, prolific Vtuber, Ironmouse, released an 11 minute video titled, “Why I Left VShojo”. In it she details the missing half-million that was supposed to go towards the Immune Deficiency Foundation from last year’s sub-athon, to discovering that her own funds have been grossly mismanaged.

Wanting to operate with her identity still private, VShojo handled all of her financial responsibilities, including last year’s Sub-athon charity money. The missing funds was seemingly discovered when Ironmouse wanted to start having more direct control over her own finances.

Ironmouse has stated there is more she would like to discuss, but at the request of her attorney she is to hold off for legal proceedings. We will update as more information becomes available.

If you would like, please consider watching the video and also dropping a donation to the Immune Deficiency Foundation. The work they provide to people, like Ironmouse, is lifesaving and changing. Below will be Ironmouse’s tiltify link for the foundation.

  1. With how many big name Vtubers are splitting from their companies lately, it honestly makes me wonder how sustainable corporate vtubing at that scale is anymore. Granted I’m not an expert in the matter by any means, but still.

    1. There are some good successes but like any business it can invite bad actors.
