As it currently stands I will be rocking just my Apple MacBook Pro 13” 2016 base model for the foreseeable period. This is nothing new for me, as I have been quite used to using an older Dell XPS 2010 PC with specifications that only dazzled in the graphics department. For what I currently want and need, my Mac will suffice. That isn’t to say I won’t be making some alterations.
For one I will be exploring some new and fun ways on how to integrate my MacBook Pro as my primary computer of choice. I see investing in a hub and book stand being one sound investment for the future period. Now while I am only dabbling with writing and bare-bones basic video edits, this is all I should need. I can scrape by with a slower i5 processor and 8gb of RAM. It is just how I roll and frankly the speed of this MacBook Pro is more than enough.
I will be vlogging about it quite soon, in order to provide a more spoken experience that details my switch and such. I never thought in 100 years that I would see myself using an Apple made computer. I had a family who made joking jabs at them while growing up in California, a state where everyone thinks you own an Apple product. I finally find myself in a connected environment and I don’t regret the choice. I fully believe in there being a perfect electronic for the right person.
It just so happens that for what I do and will plan to do, an Apple Mac is just what the doctor ordered. It should come as no surprise, but I know plenty of other bloggers out there using Mac’s in their day to day work flow and they just simply understand the feeling. I don’t know where this new environment will take me. I am still very much learning my way around Mac OS X and while it is similar in function to Windows it is, in of itself, an entirely different beast. My only regret is that I didn’t make the switch sooner.
