”Tis the season for guest announcements as we now approach the less than three month threshold for the upcoming anime convention that is Naka-Kon 2017. With this post series we hope to inform and promote interesting in the Overland Park, Kansas City, Kansas convention that happens every second week of March. It is the first anime convention I ever attended and this convention is as charming as it is dazzling. To kick off our first post is the very first guest announcement that came from the official website for Naka-Kon!
We are pleased to announce this year’s first musical guests, Rondonrats! Formed in Hiroshima, Japan, Rondonrats is a five-piece melodic rock band, featuring a twin guitar lead. Naka-Kon will mark the band’s first performance in the United States!
The featured guest are a unique Japanese rock band that mixes auto tuning and varied rock sounds to produce some rather unique music. The bands name is Rondonrats and they are a group formed out of Hiroshima, Japan and will be enjoying their first United States tour courtesy of the Naka-Kon convention! This is both a big first for the band and one that I feel is a compelling reason to give this group your utmost attention when at the convention. Nothing is more exciting than being able to experience and warmly welcome a band whose very first United States tour will be from a convention center. Below will be and included music video to let you sample the amazing sounds of the band; they also have some songs available for purchase on the U.S iTunes Store front!
Rondonrats is a group composed of musicians Mamiko, Kouta, Tetsu, KJ & Sera who have been playing together since 2007 wherein they marked their very first mini-album as a full-fledged group. The group also has an official Twitter page & Facebook page. The groups song Rain will also be our brand new featured video for our website!
This will do it for our first post of the season for Naka-Kon 2017 and we hope to see a continued trend in guest diversity and class! Be sure to visit the official convention website for more details and ticket purchase! We do hope to see other bloggers and new faces at this convention this coming March!
