We are moving to a new PC!

Hello everyone! I do apologize for the long absence in posts for our website. I have been taking a vacation of sorts from writing in general in order to address pressing matters for myself. These matters ranged from work hours to our ongoing struggle with computer issues. I can say that we have worked on solving just about everyone of them; aside for the issue that is the busy work holidays. I have however finally addressed getting a brand new PC and I am very thrilled to get it as soon as it builds and ships. Yes I did opt for a prebuilt PC through the amazing company that is CyberpowerPC. I did quote a custom build but the build always neared the pre-built amount and my build didn’t included Windows 10! Least to say I am quite pleased with the look and design of the tower itself! While I very well might invest into a better looking case in the future, I am more than happy to have gotten this computer for the price point I got it at.

The tower that we are going with! Ignore the Keyboard and monitor!

The computer I will be running is an Intel powered i5-6600 at 3.30ghz of power with an MSI motherboard with boost potential. Granted I will not be overclocking, but I may in the future. We are running an Nvidia GTX 1060 with 3gb of GDDR5 VRAM and 8gb of DDR4 RAM. Now I know most would berate me for wanting a gaming PC and slacking on the processor and GPU, but from the research and chats I have had over with the folks at PC Master Race Reddit this was the right path for me; not to mention the games I will play can be ran at max or ultra with 1080p perfectly fine! For our future video editing I do believe that this will be all that I need and more so I am hoping that all is good with that plus streaming.

Now in terms of time-tables I should hopefully have the new PC sometime next week and that makes me excited! I am hoping it allows me to perform the tasks that I wish to perform and I also hope that it is able to keep up with the demands that I ask of it. In now way was I approached or asked to sponsor this post from CyberpowerPC, but I want to give them a shout out nonetheless! This website made it easy to pick what I wanted out of my PC where other websites gave me pre-determined options at pricing that was often time bloated beyond belief. I can personally recommend this website as the better choice for those of you who wish to look into a custom built PC where you don’t have to worry about any of the building!

      1. You’re welcome. It’s only a matter of time until you start doing livestreams on PC instead of PS4 haha.

    1. Was debating the RX 480 8Gb but the 1060 3gb was more cost effective.
