Our Top Two Anticipated Spring 2016 Anime

Today we are going to dive into my, Top Two Anime for the upcoming Spring 2016 season! With Spring only two days away, I figured it would be a good time to address some upcoming anime titles! Now some, if not most, of the titles will be popular picks. That is just how things work and sadly, I often enjoy the bigger titles! So let’s jump straight into this list now!

  • Kiznaiver: So, if you read our previous article covering this anime, you know that we are immensely excited to see this title crawl out from the shadows. Kiznaiver is an anime created by Studio Trigger and features a curious plot. The plot itself is still a mystery but we know that our main character, Katsuhira joins a group of apathetic individuals who share a Kizuna or connection of emotions in order to feel pain. This group’s goal is the implementation of this system world-wide in order to obtain a lasting, world peace. While the plot details are still very skimpish, we do know that Studio Trigger is capable of bringing some absolutely amazing and beautiful anime to the table. While no specific amount of episode run was given, I would like to assume they would follow a 24 run as they did with Kill la Kill.

  • Diamond wa Kudakenai (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable): It may not be known but I am a huge fan of JoJo. Granted I have not watched the entire anime, nor the manga, nor the games. I simply watched it and stopped. Until recently. With the announced new season coming this Spring, I was inclined to start back up again and boy is this series awesome. While the plot continues to be shrouded in mystery, much like Kiznaiver, we do know that this season will star and focus on Josuke Higashikata, the illegitimate son of Joseph Joestar. The PV that was released is pretty fresh and I have a feeling this is going to be one heck of a season. It almost makes me want to go out and buy all the Jojo manga’s! This season has a lot of hype as we just started getting Jojo back and now, with a new season everyone is going Jojo crazy!

A top two list is hardly entertaining but I have yet to actually jump fully into looking as to what the spring season will offer. I have been looking into, Flying Witch, however I do tend to stay with the titles that pop up on Crunchyroll’s simulcast section. It is both reliable and it is what I am currently subscribed to. If you have not seen Jojo, the current seasons are available for your viewing pleasure on Crunchyroll. As far as reference for Studio Trigger, look no further than the amazing Kill la Kill. I am sure you will find a love for the series, if not then don’t worry. I’ll make you love Kiznaiver! 1. I still haven’t seen the all the JoJo anime but I do love the opening musics. I have been trying to read all the manga from Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency and Stardust Crusaders. I just need to grab volume 3 of Blood Tendency to finish it. I blame money >_<. If This new arc does well, maybe Viz will license and release the Diamond is Unbreakable manga.

      1. I really want to finish the JoJo arc series before getting into the anime. I especially want to finish Stardust Crusaders.
