As with all things gaming, we are rounding up on the holiday season release timeline. Long gone are the waits for those critically acclaimed titles that we have been clamoring for. While most of these games are on all platforms, some will be listed only for the PlayStation Family environment. Some of these will be games we have just gotten or those that we are still waiting for release and may have on Pre-Order. In any event, these will be titles that you can expect us to review or have already reviewed. So, with out further waiting, lets get into the list!

battlefront

Star Wars Battlefront: So, this goes without saying that this has got to be our more highly anticipated release and most sought after game to be released this year. A Series name that has long been in the works and a game that Star Wars fans have been looking forward to, Star Wars Battlefront represents a gaming series that has long been a personal favorite and much desired release for many fans. Rather than just being another sequel in the established series, DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront, seeks to reinvent the series as a whole and to present us with brand new ideas and game modes, that we have not seen yet. With a recently successful beta this past week, DICE seeks to implement the best multiplayer-driven experience to date for a shooter series game. The game will release this November 17th for PC, Xbox One & PS4

Fallout4mainFallout 4: Yet another series that fans have been clamoring for, ever since the last release of Fallout 3 by Bethesda. Announced at E3 2015 this year, Fallout 4 seeks to re imagine and reinvent the way we look at Fallout and play Fallout. Bringing in a whole new Creation Engine, Crafting System & the implementation of an all new settlement building feature, Fallout 4 aims to be the best Open World experience on any console to date. Taking us to the ruins of Boston, Fallout 4 will give us a more story driven glimpse into the life of a man or woman who still remembers the days of the world before the bombs fell and their quest to possibly find out what has happened to their family since. Fallout 4 will also finally bring Mods to consoles, allowing players to fully engross themselves in the Fallout world and to drive creative passion. Fallout 4 will release November 10th of this year for PC Xbox One & PS4.

Disgaea5 Disgaea 5- Alliance of Vengeance: While I only ever played the first title, Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance seeks to bring the best Disgaea game ever made onto the PS4. With new classes, bigger levels and more content, Disgaea 5 brings back systems from the older games, as well as a few from the PSP released titles, to give them a new shiny coat with the power of the PS4. Allowing for over 100 sprites on screen at once, your Netherworld will feel more alive and your battles more epic. With map creation and the always dynamic item world to play with, the players will find themselves dropped into a game that will literally keep them entertained and glued to their systems. Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance is already out in North America for the PS4.

halo_5Halo 5: While I no longer own an Xbox system, Halo 5 seeks to bring the Halo series into a much grimmer story, with our fan favorite Master Chief seeming a bit distant from us and a shadow of his former self. Supposedly now rogue and refusing to comply with given orders, Halo 5 will take us deeper into the lore of the game and will hopefully expand on what the Halo books have already given us. Pursed by Spartan Locke, Master Chief will surely be tested to his limits and so will Spartan Locke’s view on the galaxies most notorious demon. Halo 5 will release October 27 of this year for Xbox One.

While not a whole comprehensive list, these are just a few of the titles that are a hot topic discussion. To those who may be asking why we did not include the new Call of Duty, simply because the game is already released or just about to be released. So, simple as pie. What about you all? Any hot games that are in your cross-hairs? Is your wallet or purse ready for the onslaught of the merciless holiday season? Feel free to give us a shout out in the comment section below or on our official Twitter page! Also, if you like the new format, feel free to let us know! Or if you hate it, let us know either way!

  1. I’m interested in Yo-kai Watch just because it’s so big in Japan and Nintendo is finally bringing the series over here. And I like Level 5.

Angelique Retour was delayed in Japan until December, and I’d love to pick up that game. (Of course, a localized version would be even better!)

Otherwise, I think I only have Aksys’ two otome titles on preorder for the rest of the year right now. Waiting for all the holiday sales!
