Let’s Talk Anime: -Our Top Three Summer Romance Anime-

As summer is often associated with grandiose romantic excursions and films, it is only fitting we give our fellow Otaku something to poke at right? Not in the sense some of you may be thinking mind you rather, We will be sharing a few of the best anime that a gushy couple or maybe lonely soul can enjoy this summer! The Anime that follow will be in no particular order, so lets get this list on the road and ready for posting!

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions: This first anime is a two part one. Both seasons are up for your viewing pleasure on Crunchyroll. So, why this particular anime?  Well for starters, it is a freaking amazing anime and also happens to be about two characters developing a loving interest towards one another that get progressively expanded upon, episode by episode. While a short anime, both seasons adding up to a total of 24 episodes, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, will not disappoint and may even get the water works going. So a win-win right? Maybe, depends on if you or your significant other like emotional tear-jerkers. This anime can easily be enjoyed over the course of a week or two, depending on how long you want to spread it out of course.

Toradora: I know! I know, I have talked a lot about this anime on this blog but, it all has been for good reason! Having just recently watched this anime myself, I can say that without a fact that this is an anime that any lovey-dovey couples will enjoy! Heck, even single viewers will enjoy it, I know I did. The story is sweet and and cute. It is full of laughs, wit and serious moments. There are several times when you may want to keep the tissue box handy; or at least a steady hand on the ‘feels’ button. Coming in at only 25 episodes, this too can be finished rather quickly. It all varies on how into it you get. I finished this one in less than 4 days… I enjoyed it more so than I thought I would. Bit of trivia, I added this when I got Crunchyroll back 3 years ago. Just now got around to watching it… The music is also another great aspect about this anime. It has some of the most powerful compositions I have heard from a romance anime.

One Week Friends: A bit of a different anime but still delightful. One Week Friends explores the relation of two high school students, with one having a condition to where they forget their new friends every Monday. So how do you remedy that? Remind her everyday and leave her notes. It is a delightful anime that delivers a romantic story, one that is full of drama, twists and happy moments. This anime hit me in a time when I was experiencing some issues and really helped me through the rough patch I was in. With only 12 episodes this one can be finished quite easily. It took me a bit longer due to other reasons but, the art style is fresh and fantastic. The anime itself is short and to the point but good for couples or singles looking to sate that appetite for romantic anime.

There you have the list. I will provide links to all of these; at least for Crunchyroll. Are there other anime you like to watch when the romantic mood strikes? Or did we get some of the ones that you would have recommended? Lets us know in the comments below or on our twitter page!
